We pride ourselves in excellence of taste, freshness and quality. This business was born out of passion for the foods, arts and catering. Mbali Isabel Khumalo is a self-taught cook. She identified a market to deliver food to locals working in the CBD by offering them lunch specials. She then began working on a Monday to Friday meal special and started Taste Cafe. Taste KZN has had the pleasure of being a part of the Kwa-Dukuza Municipality 2018 Business Week panel as one of the fastest growing small businesses in KDM. We have been able to grow our clientele and following by more than 60%
Taste KZN Café won the 2019 Gagasi FM Shero award in the social entrepreneurship category for the work we do by purchasing our vegetable from local gardens and women cooperatives, as well as our adopt a girl child campaign where we take 10% of the earnings from each platter order in August to sponsor cosmetics for underprivileged girls Winner of the 2019 iLembe Chamber Of Commerce, The Entrepreneur competition.
